Abstract:
Our research interests are to
(i) unravel the principles governing biological processes and use them to identify novel drug targets and guide drug design, and
(ii) develop new methods for studying macromolecular interactions.
This talk will highlight our key accomplishments in these two areas and provide an example of how our studies help to unravel the principles governing (a) the role of Zn in proteins and (b) the reactivity of Zn finger cores.
